Available to only non-Muslim Civilizations. Duchy of Milan will provide you with a mercenary unit named Condottiere.

A very "different" unit.  Condottiere  is a heavy hand infantry unit classifies as a mercenary despite being trained from a Minor Civ. Condottiere is heavily armored with 40% range armor. The unit has a large bonus against all gunpowder units making them deadly to a wide range of units (I wonder where did I got the idea from maybe not AOE II African Kingdoms :) ). That leaves the Condottiere  Cavalry and other hand units.

The Condottiere Free Company of Milan! You get approximately 1 Elmeti for every 3 minutes of game length, up to 30 minutes (This tech can be used from III age).

Renaissance Architecture (European Civilizations only)
Cost : -

Delivers 1 special Town Center. The Renaissance  Architecture  will increase your cirty popularity which will have the following effects  (as long as you have the Renaissance Town Center): overall population limit will increase by 10. All buildings hp will increase by 20% (except for walls, outposts & forts) , build  time will decrease by 20%.  If the Renaissance Town Center got destroyed, all the associated effects will be lost.

Italian Jesuit Artists (Asian Civilizations only)

Delivers an Italian Artist that can build a unique Buildings called "Asian Western-Style Mansion". The Mansion acts like a Town Center and have the following bonuses: can train military units, can garrison  infantry units (but cannot garrison villagers).  Export gather rate will be increased by 20%.

 
 
Italian Architecture School (Natives & African only)

Italian Architecture School : Italian Architects provide their architectural insights, increasing building hitpoints by 15% & decreasing build time by 15%.

Professional Mercenary Services (Available to All)
Cost : -

Professional Mercenary services lowers all non-outlaw mercenaries population cost by 1 & decreases their training time by 20% (Muslim Mercenaries are not affected by this tech i.e : Mameluke, Arsonist & Barbary Corsair ).

Mercenary Bribery (Available to All)
Cost: -

Bribe the enemy’s mercenaries to turn them to your side. Your explorer will get a special ability that can convert enemy’s mercenaries to your side (excluding Outlaws & Muslim mercenaries). The Bribe will convert minimum of 2 units & maximum of 7 units within targeted unit range).

Golden Bribery (Available to All)
Cost : -

Engulf the enemy’s mercenaries with golden chests to turn them to your side. Your explorer will get a special ability that can convert enemy’s mercenaries to your side (excluding Outlaws & Muslim mercenaries). The Bribe will convert minimum of 4 units & maximum of 20 units within targeted unit range).
